Striking a pose

I've been crazy busy over the last few days. Work is sort of insane, and I missed part of last week due to being sick, so there's a lot of catchup.

What's been great, though, is I have a house full of people right now. Our friend Pixie is in town to shoot some clients, and she's staying with us. Our friend Porn brought her down from Austin (she'd stayed at his house when she was there), and he decided to stick around for the rest of the week and hang out. We went out for drinks and dinner with a bunch of friends on Tuesday night, stayed in and cooked on Wednesday, hung out while Pixie shot a belly dancing troupe last night. Tonight we'll go grab food somewhere and I'm sure other adventures will present themselves as the evening wears on. Tomorrow night there's a party at a friends house, which will be a blast. Sunday, Pixie and I are going to hit a couple of thrift stores.

Pixie is shooting me and Graham tomorrow. I've never done a photo shoot before, but having seen her portfolio and watched her work last night, I have no doubt that she's going to make us look stunning. I think we're still working out what we'll wear and how we'll approach the shoot. Probably we'll have a wardrobe change in the middle somewhere. I'm probably hitting the nail salon early to get a pedicure, but otherwise, I'm not doing anyting in particular to gussy up (professionaly at least) for it. We probably will approach at least one of the sets with a Glitter and Doom theme: me all colorful and sparkly, Graham with dark monochromatic skulls. I'll sort through costumes and props tomorrow morning and figure out what might work and just haul all of that over. I have this vision of me sprawled out on all of my pretty colorful tutus.

The puppies also get to be models. Celsoa has fallen head over heels with both Pixie and Porn, and Crianza is pretty happy about all the people in the house too. We were thinking about bringing them to the shoot with us, but it probably will be easier just to do it at our house in the back yard or somewhere.

I propose the Medea outfit. I think it's my favorite of all your costumes and you looked stunning in those photos.
