Today is my first day back at work. I'm a bit tired, and I'll probably leave earlier than I usually do, but I'm glad to be back to a routine. It sucks not having my pain medication, though. I'll take it when I get home and probably take a long nap to go with it.

Yay to being back at work. I'm looking forward to it myself. My big thing was making sure I was able to wash my hair today. Ah, cleanliness! The next big test will be laundry after the staples are out. If that all goes well, work should be fine. :)

I took a shower as soon as I got home. I didn't have any staples. My stitches dissolved automatically, and I'm almost completely done scabbing over. I have some pain still at the incision points, but it's really just the exhaustion that has me down now. I came home at 2:30 and took a two hour nap with Athena as soon as I got home.

Huh, that's funny that they would do our surgeries so differently. I still have to go back on Friday to have the staples out. Ouch. I haven;t had much of an issue with exhaustion, that I know of, just that my back starts killing me by trying not to strain the wounds sitting at the comp all day.

I don't think we got the same surgery. I didn't need an MRI, and I didn't have any risk of pancreatitis.

Don't sit at the computer. Read in bed or watch TV on the couch instead.

Well the pancreantitis showed up in the blood tests and helped explain all the odd pain that wasn't food related. A stone in the duct would also have explained it, which is why I needed the MRI as they couldn't have done the gall bladder surgery with that there. Your blood work was probably clean so they were able to go straight in and get it out. The surgery was the lycroscopic something or other.

Now that I'm no longer a week or so behind, I don't need to spend a lot of time online, which is good. I can shut down befre my back bugs me.
