A friend of Katie's was at the site yesterday taking pictures as the containers were installed. I think the gallery gives you a good sense of how the whole process works, and how easy it is to do this sort of construction. Katie is the redheaded woman ("Well brunettes are fine man / And blondes are fun / But when it comes to getting the dirty job done / I'll take a red headed woman" Bruce has apparently met Katie) in the photos, and her business partner John is the guy in the cowboy hat. The three containers now make a U shape, and the roof will go over the middle area to create a larger space for the gallery to hang art.

I went over there at lunch time to a) deliver their sign (which is the last photo in Kyle's gallery), and see how progress was going. Two of the three containers were there, and they were just setting the first container into position. It was pretty cool watching them lift a container with the crane and pull it into position on the foundation. It took a grand total of maybe twenty mintues to do, which is pretty damned incredible, in my opionion. The pictures you see on this page are the photos taken with my camera phone.
